Colourcoats Royal Navy range changes
Share
Our Royal Navy paint range has been the most researched and developed range within our brand and as such many changes, improvements and amendments have been to made to ensure we provide the most accurate paint possible.
We have recently completely revamped the range and changed all prefixes to a new numbering system. There are overlaps where previous colours have been correct and additions or subtractions where colours have required changes.
The changes that overlap have been detailed below for your information. Please note that whilst we do still hold stock of some of these replaced colours, we will no longer be producing them so once they are gone, they are gone.
As always we recommend you ensure to purchase enough paint in one order to complete your model to ensure that you do not come back to us 2 years later looking for a discontinued colour.
Colours which have simply been renumbered without a shade change are:
RN28 became NARN20
RN01 became NARN23
RN02 became NARN24
RN18 became NARN25
RN04 became NARN28
RN07 (as revised from Snyder & Short medium blue-grey to blue by Sovereign Hobbies in 2017) became NARN33
RN09 became NARN39
RN19 became NARN42
RN24 became NARN44
RN27 became NARN45
RN26 became NARN46
All other NARNxx colours are new products, whether altered slightly or significantly from the similarly labelled product from the discontinued RNxx range. You may find that colours ordered under the NARNxx range will still be labelled as RNxx.
