A full-colour PDF facsimile copy of the October 1942 Confidential Admiralty Fleet Order 2146 entitled "DARK MEDIUM TONE CAMOUFLAGE DESIGNS FOR SEAGOING SHIPS".

C.A.F.O.1112 (available for free here) was issued in 1942 which made reference to C.A.F.O.679's (available separately from us) camouflage design illustrations and Dark-Medium tone designs, but it was realised that C.A.F.O. 679 did not actually contain any examples of such. As a result, C.A.F.O. 2146 was issued in October of that year to address this gap, and merely contained a table of substitute colours to use on C.A.F.O.679/42's Dark Admiralty Type designs to achieve Dark-Medium tone designs. We have made things easier for you by executing all of these changes on modified C.A.F.O.679/42 design plates, allowing instant visualisation of what these Dark Medium tone designs would actually look like. This PDF product is therefore not a true facsimile, but an enhanced facsimile which reproduces all of the text of the original, but also provides illustrations based upon the latest Royal Navy paint colour research.

The document is 14 pages long with 5 pages of text and the remainder full-colour illustrations of standardised camouflage designs.
